Why do we use air and not foam? We believe that air technology provides the HandiRack with an unrivalled hauling experience. The inflation process delivers greater stability for the rack on the roof of the vehicle, helps cushion and spread the weight of the load and when not in use makes the system very compact to store. We set out to design the HandiRack to be the most innovative and capable temporary roof rack – not the cheapest.

High Quality Components and Materials

Heavy Duty Cam Buckles

The HandiRack features extremely strong bespoke cam buckles. These buckles feature lower trailing edges to help ensure that the HandiRack fitting strap never loses tension and remains secure during long hauls.

D Ring Anchor Points

The 5 metal (not fabric loops) D ring anchor points on each HandiRack allow you to safely secure your load using a pair of 10ft heavy duty tie downs (included). All metal components are treated with an anti-corrosion coating.

1.5″ Fitting Strap

The main fitting strap is 1.5 inches wide and is polypropylene with a polymer waterproof coating. All stitching is nylon.

Strong and Durable Material

The HandiRack is manufactured using extremely strong and durable non abrasive 400D Nylon material which has been tested for use in both hot and cold conditions.

How does the HandiRack work?

The HandiRack is inflatable which means that when its not in use it packs down to a very small storage size. Once inflated the bars are very strong and cushion your load.

How does it inflate?

The HandiRack is inflated using the HandiPump which is included. Each bladder takes about 30 seconds to inflate and so the whole system can be attached to your car in around five minutes.
